Internship Opportunity: Literary Arts Infrastructure

Gain hands-on experience working with the visual and literary arts department during a summer internship at Kranzberg Arts Foundation in Grand Center.

The intern will have the opportunity to practice structure support skills in library organization, literary event facilitation, and advancing the literary space. An appreciation of establishment (and particularly libraries) is encouraged; a willingness to be open to the learning process is a must. Afternoon/evening availability required.

  • Organizational Software a plus (such as Airtable)

Education Background or Interests:

  • Library Sciences
  • Literary Arts
  • Teaching
  • Visual Arts

Responsibilities include, and not limited to:

  • Programming activation areas within High Low’s Library
  • Attend program development meetings
  • Assist with organization and upkeep of the library
  • Creation of a Library Catalog System
  • Make new labels
  • Monitor visits to High Low Gallery

Reports to: Director of Visual and Literary Infrastructure
Duration: Mid-May/June start through August/September (flexible start/end dates)
Compensation: College Credit
Location: On-site in Grand Center Arts District (not eligible for remote)
