The Kranzberg Arts Foundation and founders Ken & Nancy Kranzberg have made lasting contributions that have changed the landscape of the arts community in the St. Louis region. In particular, their support and guidance in the Grand Center District has led to the development and relocation of KDHX 88.1 FM, KWMU 90.7 FM, the Sun Theater, and Metro Theater Company.

The Kranzberg Arts Foundation developed and currently operates venues, galleries, and office space for nonprofits, including the Kranzberg Arts Center, the .ZACK, The Marcelle, the Grandel Theater, and The Dark Room at The Grandel. In addition to these venues, the KAF has been instrumental in the formation of the Music at The Intersection Festival, Wednesday night’s Grand Center Jazz Crawl, and The .ZACK Performing Arts Incubator program. Through the foundation’s tireless efforts and generous contributions, necessary infrastructure has been put in place for the arts to thrive in St. Louis for generations to come.
